Cleanse. Extract. Hydrate.

HydraFacial uses a patented Vortex-Fusion® tip to simultaneously remove impurities and deliver hydrating serums to the skin. Unlike traditional facials, it doesn't cause redness or irritation, it leaves your skin immediately softer, clearer, and visibly more radiant.

1

Cleanse & Peel

A gentle glycolic-lactic acid blend removes dead skin cells and loosens debris from pores. Reveals a fresh layer of skin without the harshness of a traditional peel.

2

Extract & Hydrate

The Vortex suction removes blackheads and congestion while simultaneously infusing hyaluronic acid, peptides, and antioxidants into the empty follicle. Painless extraction, no squeezing.

3

Fuse & Protect

A final layer of skin-specific serums (chosen based on your skin type and concerns) is fused into the skin. LED light therapy is optionally added to enhance results and reduce inflammation.

HydraFacial Works for Every Skin Type

One of the few treatments with no skin type contraindications. Whether your concern is dryness, oiliness, acne, sensitivity, or anti-aging, the HydraFacial protocol can be customized for you.

  • Oily or acne-prone skin with congested pores
  • Fine lines and early signs of aging
  • Uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation
  • Sensitive skin that can't tolerate aggressive treatments
  • Pre-event skin prep (ideal 1–2 days before a big occasion)
  • Maintenance between more intensive procedures

Why HydraFacial Is Especially Beneficial in Scottsdale's Climate

Low desert humidity (Scottsdale averages under 30% relative humidity year-round) is one of the primary drivers of transepidermal water loss in our patients. Skin that loses moisture faster than it can retain it becomes visibly dull, rough, and more susceptible to fine lines. HydraFacial's three-step protocol is specifically designed to replenish this moisture deficit at the follicular level while simultaneously clearing the congestion that accumulates from sunscreen, environmental dust, and outdoor activity. For our Scottsdale and Paradise Valley patients who spend significant time outdoors, monthly HydraFacial treatments function as a skin maintenance baseline, removing damage before it compounds and maintaining the hydration that everything else in a skincare regimen depends on.

HydraFacial FAQs

How is HydraFacial different from a regular facial?

A traditional facial relies on manual extraction (which can cause redness and broken capillaries) and topical product application with limited penetration. HydraFacial uses mechanical Vortex-Fusion technology to simultaneously extract and infuse, delivering active serums deeper into the skin with no manual pressure. Results are more consistent and the treatment is appropriate on the same day as an important event.

How often should I get a HydraFacial?

Monthly is ideal for most patients, this aligns with the skin's natural renewal cycle. More frequent treatments (every 2 weeks) are appropriate when targeting specific concerns like congestion or hyperpigmentation. Many patients use HydraFacial as their maintenance treatment between more intensive procedures like microneedling or chemical peels.

Is there any downtime?

None. Your skin may appear slightly flushed for 30–60 minutes after treatment, but most patients return to work, makeup, and normal activities immediately. This is specifically why HydraFacial is popular as a pre-event treatment, it delivers visible improvement without any recovery period.

Can I combine HydraFacial with other treatments?

Yes. HydraFacial pairs excellently with LED therapy, dermaplaning, and light chemical peels. For more intensive procedures like microneedling or laser, HydraFacial is typically performed as a prep treatment 1–2 weeks before, or as a recovery treatment 4–6 weeks after. Never on the same day as laser resurfacing.

Is HydraFacial safe during pregnancy?

The standard HydraFacial protocol is generally considered safe during pregnancy, but we avoid certain boosters (including vitamin A derivatives) and follow conservative protocols for pregnant patients. Please disclose your pregnancy at booking so we can customize your treatment appropriately.
